I have worked in some capacity or another with children my whole adult life. I’ve worked with individuals from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds, and I am LGTBQ affirming. I will take the time to get to know you, your values, your experiences, and your goals. I received my masters in counseling and development from TWU, there I was also a part of a research study, conducting play therapy in title 1 schools. I also worked in Child Life in Hematology and Oncology at Cook Childrens. My work there really showed me the value of family centered care. This I carry into my work now knowing how essential it is to integrate the whole family into work with children and teens. My career as a counselor has centered around trauma work. I have wokred with victims of sexual abuse and domestic violence as well as children in the foster care system. I am so honored I get to create healing space for my clients and their families.
